Recently TiedIn Media launched a new and improved website for comedian Jackie ‘The Joke Man” Martling. Working with Jackie throughout this process was filled with lots of laughter and of course a website for a comedian had to reflect this light-hearted energy.
The imagery throughout the website is humorous and fun portraying who Jackie is as a person and as a comedian. Each slide on the homepage has a specific purpose; the first one displaying a short bio on Jackie, the second displaying The JokeLand Store, the third allowing visitors to click to book Jackie, and the last shows site visitors videos of past performances. One of the most important aspects of this site is to let visitors know where they can see Jackie perform so underneath the slider on the homepage is a list of all of his upcoming shows. As an extra treat, Jackie’s tweets can be read from a stream on the side of the website where site visitors can get a good laugh from one of his many jokes that he tweets everyday at 4:20 pm (You can follow him at @JackieMartling).
