The 4 Keys To Building Brand Loyalty

Tied In Tips Customer

Building brand loyalty today is not an easy task. Thanks to the ever-expanding internet, around 80% of consumers look to the web to read other reviews before deciding on using a brand. Before this change, people simply relied on advertisements or brands that had the most experience in their prospective market. This evolution in the way people choose brands means your reputation online has an enormous impact on the success of your business.

Here are some rules to follow if you want to build/maintain brand loyalty among your customers:

  1. Listen to your customers: the biggest mistake a brand can make is not making changes based on what their customers are saying. So while internet reviews can easily ruin your business, you should use them as a tool to listen to your customers.
  2. Follow through on the promises your brand makes: If you’re in a relationship and the other person lies or makes false promises it becomes very hard to trust that individual and the same goes in the brand world. If you promise comfy t-shirts make sure they’re comfy, if they are stiff and uncomfortable then find another selling point.
  3. Own up to your mistakes: during this technological age one mistake can make its rounds on the internet for weeks following. As stated earlier, consumers are turning to the web to read reviews more than ever before. Rather than avoid discussing a company blunder, own up to it and apologize as soon as possible. Concisely think of an appropriate response to said mistake and deliver it in the best way possible. Be authentic with your apology, sometimes a letter can seem too impersonal so try making a video to roll out on social media platforms.
  4. Offer discounts and deals for your customers: offering a discount on your product such as 15% off or including bonuses in packages can make all the difference with customers. Deals and promotions will also make their way around the internet and encourage consumers to use your business’ products.

So while the internet can make the world of branding a very hostile place, it can also help encourage consumers to utilize your business. If you are having trouble with your online reputation or advertising to your clients in the right manner then contact TiedIn Media at contact@TiedInMedia.com.
