Jason Woolley is proud to have TiedIn Media Launch his Website. Jason has an extensive background and priceless expertise within the game, having played within the NCAA, the AHL, the IHL, the UHL, the Swedish Elite League and obviously, the NHL.
After two strong years at St. Michael’s College Jr. B in Toronto, Jason went on to have three stellar seasons as a scholarship athlete at Michigan State University from 1988 1991. He made the prestigious AllRookie Team his freshman year, scoring 37 points as a defensive player. Because of this success, he was drafted 61st overall by the Washington Capitals in the1989 NHL Draft. Jason returned to MSU for his second season and scored 48 points in 45 games played, including 10 goals. His junior season with the Spartans was better still, with 59 points, including 15 goals, in 40 matches. He was named First Team AllAmerican at the conclusion of his junior season in 1991.
Jason left MSU after his junior year to play for Team Canada in the 1992 Olympics. He along with his team played against the best players within the world and caught a Silver Medal, losing a really tight match for the Unified Team within the finals. At those Matches, Jason made history, becoming the first Canadian to ever score within an Olympic shoot out.
